I FINALLY finished one of the pairs of my kitties lol.
So happy for this, and I LOVE how this turned out
Explanation to this art: Well, I have started something where I am pairing up all my cats to the cat who they hang out with the most, show attention to the most, or seem to lay with most. These two are always sleeping together and grooming one another. So they seem to be best buds.
About the cats:
Elsa-- She is a 10 year old female, I am not sure of her breed but she has a semi stripped and calico look to her. She is a very sweet girl, loving and very tolerant of children, (my nephew) always laying on her or petting her too rough, she don't mind. She will just purr away and happily take it. She loves to get into our cupboards and such so we always have to keep them locked now lol. She has a habit of taking down wash rags and carrying them around. She is very motherly, once who had a litter of kittens. She loves to nurse on blankets, shirts, pillows, anything fluffy and soft like. I had gotten her through a friend when she was a kitten.
Sassy-- She is a calico mix sort of female, around 4 years I think by now? She is a bit sassy towards me, the reason she is called such, and she usually doesn't like being held. She is still being taught to be more social, and so far it is working. She loves to be pet, but only to a limit then she will avoid being touched. She meows often when I hold her and will get slightly squirmy. She is always the first to come right to me every time I eat, (since I spoil my cats with bits of whatever I am eating, depending if it is okay for them) and she is terrified, or aggressive to the few dogs she sees that are usually kept outside. Along with her two brothers Skish and Tommy, she was found by me as a kitten next to an abandoned store. She was retrieved along with the others and soon fattened up and healthy.
So yeah ^_^ So happy I finished this ha ha. This drawing all together took me from 10 in the morning until just now, 1 in the morning. Each picture took me about half that time, mostly the coloring.. They were then shaded in together, and given a colored background with some effects and placed together.
They were outlined through some photos I had of my cats, then the patterns and colors were placed together to create them. I think Elsa, the dark one, was the hardest and biggest pain hehe.
Now my wrists and fingers hurt like crazy!!! x_x lol
